has absolutely no plans as of right now and is not working on a sequel to Wii
Sports for the Wii console.

This is a bit surprising as there have been rumors for
months that Nintendo was working on a brand new sequel to Wii Sports which may
have even been ready for this holiday season. These were known to be rumors and
have now been confirmed to be false. Iwata stated that if a sequel came it would
not just be a few new sports added in.

Iwata stated that "We’re not going to take away such an
easy way, not by including seven new sports in the game since Wii Sports has
five. We’re not closing our doors to the possibility of a sequel, but it’s
definitely not coming out soon."

This is not all that shocking when you think about it as
Nintendo made no mention of it at E3 and is working hard to get Wii Fit released
along with other big 1st party titles such as Mario Galaxy and Super Smash Bros.
Brawl.

Wii Sports 2 will have to
wait...

Pingback: http://www.ps3center.net/story-907.html

Awesome Underwater Exploration Game: Nintendo Wii 'Forever Blue'

This game looks really cool. Reminds me of pokemon snap.

Forever Blue, developed by Arika, is a Wii exclusive title exploring

Look like Metroid will not have online capabilities.

With the first online game for Wii (Pokemon Battle Revolution) just recently hitting stores, it may not be terribly surprising that the next big release joins the vast majority of Wii titles without Wi-Fi play. However, with all the delays we should have seen this coming. :(

GamePro: Will Metroid Prime 3 have any online modes?

Michael Kelbeugh:: No. It's something we talked about early on, but we only have so many resources. We opted to devote those resources to making a better single-player experience.

What are the biggest differences between Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and the previous two Metroid Prime games?

It's got to be the controls. The integration of the controls with the Wii controller is a phenomenal difference, and a dramatic improvement in the experience as a whole.

How difficult was it to figure out how the controls would work?

When we first saw the Wii controller, our game director Mark Pacini was really concerned about being able to take all the controls we used in Metroid Primes 1 and 2 - because, really, you use every single button in those games - and morph them into the Wii controller. So we spent a tremendous amount of time making that as seamless and as intuitive as possible. And I think we accomplished that. I think we did a really good job , so that you can pick the Remote and Nunchuk up and not be intimidated.

Called Blast Works: Build, Fuse & Destroy, the game is a sidescrolling shooter that gives players a huge amount of control over their gaming experience by letting them build their own levels, ships and even enemy ships.

Players can also absorb the pieces and weapons of enemy units that they destroy to enhance their ship's defenses. Rumors of Majesco bringing the PC freeware game to the Nintendo Wii console surfaced a couple of months ago, and it seems like this is the end result.

Anyway, here are a few more features of the game:

15 different land, air and sea missions

upgrade your ship's weapons, propulsion systems and armor in the Hangar

defend your Hangar by using the Wiimote like an anti-aircraft turret to shoot down enemies attacking from all angles

design your own ships in the Ship Editor and test them out on a custom level built using the Level Editor

2-player co-op mode

Blast Works: Build, Fuse & Destroy is currently slated for a fall release.

Nintendo Wii Game Manuals avaliable online in PDF

Not many people know this but Nintendo offers downloadable manuals for select Nintendo GameCube, Nintendo DS, and Game Boy Advance games. In order for the manual to be available, the game must be published by Nintendo. Currently the selection is just beginning, but more manuals are on the way soon. All game manuals are in .PDF format, and are typically in English (although some may be tri-lingual where indicated, including English, French, and Spanish).

Also you can purchase some directly from nintendo: Online Store to see if the manual is available for purchase.
